Outsider, a local band, asked us to design their new logo.  They had some simple rules : it had to be red and black, and it had to have a rose.  We took over from there to develop a wider theme.  The group was made up of musicians from very different walks of life, both musically and personally, thus the non-uniform nature of the letters making up the name.  The graphic portion of the logo represents escaping or being outside of the norm.  Further, the background O represents not only the bands name, but also the male musicians in the band, while the rose represents the sole female vocalist.
